Bree & Annyka healing, travel & medical expenses

Saturday October 24th, Mike, Breanne and their three youngest kids were on a side by side ride with a group of friends. Which is something their family thoroughly enjoys. On the way back their side by side struck a cut tree that had fallen across the trail and pushed aside still partially in the trail. The tree came through the passenger wheel well  into the cab across Bree’s leg into the back seat striking Annyka, 6  in her left side. Mike and friends were able to use a chainsaw to cut the tree and free Bree and Annyka from the vehicle. They were all moved from the scene to Blewett Pass by side by side to meet with emergency crews, where a helicopter was set to pick them up but due to weather conditions they were transported by ambulance to Wenatchee. Bree sustained injuries to her leg and required surgery that night and was released the next morning. Annyka in critical condition with multiple injuries to her torso required surgery that night also. Later she and her Dad, Mike were airlifted to Harborview to continue her care there while in the ICU over the next few weeks she has more procedures ahead to help with the healing process. Bree was able to get to Harborview the day she was released and be by her daughters side. At this time Bree and Mike are both with Annyka during the day and only one during the night so Mike is staying in a hotel and taking an Uber to and from Harborview and the hotel. Their other 4 kids are in Wenatchee with each other. Mike and Bree are very well known in Wenatchee having been born and raised in the valley and also as business owners. This time away from their family and work is only adding to the stress of this accident. Annyka will have a long road of healing and recovery with no known release date as of now. She has been in good spirits and the doctors continue to be amazed by her strength and courage. 

 Mike and Bree would like to focus their attention on their family and healing at this time. They are very thankful for the love, support and prayers received. Updates will be posted here for everyone.
