Breast Cancer Crisis

Hello, my name is Peggy Lynne Harper. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January of 1995. That was 28 years ago. I am now Stage IV, and HER2 Positive. I have been receiving chemotherapy treatment since December 2004, when the disease metastasized to my liver. Being Stage IV, I will be on chemotherapy for the rest of my life. I am 70 years old and have tried to work to pay my bills however, I am physically and mentally exhausted from the many surgeries and constant treatment and cannot work. Right now, my largest bill is my car payment which $5,000 would cover. It is a constant struggle to maintain a comfortable life now. My Food Stamps have been reduced and I cannot purchase the foods I need to keep myself healthy. This is important to me because I would like to be able to enjoy whatever time I have left. If I were blessed to receive this money, it would go directly to pay off the balance of my car note. Twenty-eight years of constant treatment and procedures that I have endured have weakened me to the point where I don't know what else to do.
Sincerely,
Peggy L. Harper
