Breast Cancer Fund for Maria

Hello everyone! You may know Maria as a friend, family member, or talented groomer and her family would like to share this news with you all. As of June 2023, she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and has undergone surgical treatment (double mastectomy). She will be put through further testing in order to see if the cancer has spread to any other part of her body.

Maria is the strongest warrior of our household, however, she will be closing down her grooming business during recovery. This will hinder our family’s ability to support one another through this difficult time. If you are able to donate, any amount toward medical costs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your support and best wishes. It has been concluded that Maria is fighting Stage 3 breast cancer and is in recuperation before she begins chemotherapy and radiation. We are all battling in this together and extremely grateful for all the love that will help us push forward. ❤️

Hello everyone! A quick update on Maria’s health; her double mastectomy with reconstruction surgery brought along an infection that has pushed back the treatment process. Another surgery had to be done in order to clear the infection, and we are waiting for those wounds to heal before chemo and therapy begin at University of Miami.
