Breast cancer strikes unexpected!

You NEVER think it hits you or a LOVED one! 

Lauren is fighting breast cancer from November 2022.

She started with back pain… she had endless physio & doctors appointments, and then sadly she got diagnosed with breast cancer in the second week of January 2023.

She has been diagnosed with advanced metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her bones. It all happens quite fast.

She has two beautiful girls, Hayley (turning 7) and little baby Willow who is turning 1 in February.

Lauren and her husband Steven came to Australia in 2017 in search of a safer and better life for themselves and little Hayley. They have no family here in Australia and most of their friends and family are all over the world.

She’s had her fair share of struggles during her pregnancy and after little baby Willow was born, but pulled through it all with an amazing, positive attitude.

Even now after the diagnosis she’s not giving up. She’s a fighter and we want to make her fight a little easier.

There are a few of us that look after the girls and also regularly cook for the four of them. They are in need of some extra support for some very expensive medical bills, cost of living, child care, after school care and hopefully a weekly food drop.
