Breast reconstruction surgery fund!!

Hi I’m Jaime! I was diagnosed with a 7lb Wilm’s tumor in my right kidney at 22 months old, and due to the radiation and chemotherapy treatment, among a few other medical issues I encountered growing up (including early puberty triggered at age 4), my chest has grown to be severely uneven.

For me, this means my chest is completely lopsided and I have ectopic breast tissue growing under my right armpit, causing constant clogged pores and lumps, discomfort as no clothes are made for my body and sleeves/bras are always cutting into my underarm (which has caused discoloration, leathery skin, and general dysphoria).

My mental health has also severely suffered due to this and I want to make the steps to take control back of my life and be able to confidently take on any tasks that come my way with one less worry on my shoulders (no pun intended)

I tried to go through my insurance, however they’ve said they won’t cover it. I’ll be trying to appeal this decision, but I have made this fund as another option for myself as I’m not sure what that process includes. Anything helps!
