Medical Bills for Black Non-Binary Trans

I’m a 21 year old non-binary black person. I’ve openly identified as non-binary for 3 years and for 2 years prior to that had identified as gender fluid. I’ve been mulling over this decision since I was 16 though. My chest has always made me uncomfortable with my body even when hiding it. I’ve researched complete top surgery because that was my best option to be comfortable in my body.
However, I would like to carry my own children and be able to breastfeed. With top surgery they do remove the glands and ducts responsible for milk production meaning I wouldn’t be able to breastfeed. So then my thoughts were “Okay maybe I can just wait until after I have children” but that won’t be for a while.
I do feel as though smaller breasts will help me feel more comfortable not only in appearance and mentally but also physically as binders and sports bras that help to currently hide my chest make me feel uncomfortable. I’m trying to go from a DD to a B of A cup. Preferably A cup if the doctors can do that. People do often misgender me and make me feel uncomfortable due to my chest size.
I am still awaiting a consultation with the doctor due to COVID which is why I’m only trying to raise less than the average cost for breast reduction. I don’t believe that my insurance will cover the costs based on their website of covered procedures, however if they do partially end up covering it these funds would be helpful while I’m in recovery in case of missing work. Other than that any leftover funds would be distributed amongst other lgbtq+ black people & poc who are asking donations for various things.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I’m just trying to feel more comfortable in my body. Update: This fundraiser was originally just for breast reduction surgery but I’d like to also use some of these donations to go towards my other medical bills. I currently have bills for two ultrasounds. One for my IUD and one for my kidneys (I have polycystic kidney disease that has to be monitored via ultrasounds). I’m also paying out of pocket currently for my anti-depressant and anxiety medication (hopefully will get it partially covered by my insurance soon). I’m also suffering from an autoimmune disease (pending diagnosis of lupus, doctor wants to rule out other autoimmune diseases first) and will likely have medical bills due to that because I’ve been feeling more and more ill lately. And on top of these medical bills, I have rent and gas and my phone bill. Working full time is one of the biggest factors affecting my health because it’s exhausting my body and causing me to have more lupus (again just pending a confirmed diagnosis) flare ups than normal. Every donation is appreciated because even $3 helps ease some of the financial stress I’m under that’s being caused by my unexpected medical expenses (I didn’t know my insurance wasn’t going to fully cover the ultrasounds). So again thank you all for your donations and please continue to share.
