Brenda Forrest’s Breast Cancer Fight!

Hi, I’m Roberta Lucas and on behalf of Brenda Forrest and her daughter Bethany Martin, I am setting up this go fund me account to help raise funds for Brenda.

Nearly a year ago, Brenda was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She received multiple treatments in Ashland and also at UK hospital and unfortunately those treatments have failed. It was then decided to go to MD Anderson in Texas to meet with doctors and get a new plan of action to cure this type of cancer.

Obviously, plane tickets are high and since Brenda, Bethany and Beth’s son are flying to and from Texas it is very costly with just one round trip for all three at approximately $1,900. Not including the hotel stay for anytime they are there and expenses for food etc.

My goal of this is to raise funds so that none of them have to have the financial burden that comes with this. They should just be able to go to these appointments and not worry about having money to eat dinner and just use all their focus on Brenda and getting her well.

Brenda’s favorite verse is Isaiah 40:31.

31: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
