Please support the heartbreaking passing of my Mom

Hello friends and family.

I'm one of Brenda's three sons. Matthew, the middle one. My beautiful, sweet, kind mother has been battling a cancer in her lung for years now. We decided to have surgery in October at St. Joseph Mercy in Pontiac, MI. Everything went downhill from there. Numerous mistakes from the hospital and surgeons. Overall, the unprofessionalism in that facility completely destroyed my mother's life. She wasn't taken care of the way the hospital staff/doctor(s) promised she would be. Instead, treated her with no compassion or sympathy.

As a costly investigation was being formulated and in the works.. My mother passed away on December 21st, at 1:20 p.m.

She was only 60 years young.

Unanswered and unexpected to say the least. She has been in the hospital since October 6th. I dropped her off for surgery at 5 am that day. The surgeons said she will be back to normal and back to work in 2-3 weeks.

Not 2-3 months. That entire time she has been in a hospital bed they have not taken care of her hygiene and just let her sit there in and out of sedation until she eventually passed without even being able to say goodbye and I will not rest until I figure out what happened.

She leaves behind her mother, her three sons, brother, and one grand daughter. Plus other more distant relatives. Any and all help would go towards paying for her cremation and celebration of life memorial. As well as continuing this pursuit to find answers about what happened at the hospital. She had a lot of unanswered questions, as did I. And I promised to make sure I figured them out. For her, and to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Her wishes were to be with her Father at his grave site in southeast Michigan.
