In memory of Brenda Velez. Funeral fundraiser

Hi, this is Steven Velez, Brenda's husband. Recently Brenda was admitted to the hospital with her toughest battle yet. Unfortunately, after a very long month of fighting the myriad of medical issues that her all at once it appeared that no treatment could keep up with each development and we were given the hardest decisions of our lives. Do we stop treatment and let her go in peace or do we subject her to more procedures that will continue to make her suffer with little no chance at a success rate. After a long month, Brenda passed peacefully on December 2, 2022. Brenda was an amazing person and the definition of extroverted. She loved meeting new people and made friends very easily. She was a naturally good speaker and could talk your ear off for days. She knew how to light up a room and was a very hard working and diligent person. This GoFundMe is to raise funds for Brenda's burial service. The goal amount is just a general estimate on what we expect to pay for her burial but we are hoping to maybe get a price lower than that as we continue speaking with the funeral services. We have a plot of land in mind for her final resting space and will also send out funeral invitations once we have all the final details wrapped up. Please do not force yourselves to donate more than you can. Every donation is appreciated equally and we will be eternally grateful. We also plan to hold in person fundraisers where her family will be raising money by selling some delicious food. We will be making flyers and posting it around social media so others can come eat and donate as well.
