Brenda’a Battle with Lymes
Donation protected
As some of you know, one of my best friends, Brenda has been very ill. For the past few months she has chased treatment for a series of symptoms, with a number of trips to the ED and to her PCP to pinpoint and determine what was attacking her body. In the time that has passed since her first symptoms, what was once a treatable condition has now become a medical crisis. In increments, we have finally discovered her diagnosis to be Lyme Disease.
The nature of Lyme Disease is such that it affects each person differently with an abundance of possible symptoms showing face to produce a personal cocktail of illness; some days its silent, and other days attacking with unmerciful, and inexplicable will. For this reason, there are many of you friends and customers of the kennel who did not know Brenda has been sick. Like a lot of social posts, the days you saw her in person or on media sites were “the good days.”
While early detection of Lyme can be treated with common antibiotics, the vagueness and sporadic health issues lead too often to doctors misdiagnose the illness and further delaying treatment.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to Brenda. Once diagnosed Brenda began a course of antibiotics to eliminate the virus. However there are by products and issues left behind in the body by the Lyme. A friend recommended Brenda look into treatment being offered by a local chiropractor. This treatment is a combination of diet, supplements and detox to help Brenda’s body to remove and eliminate the residual effect of this disease. This treatment is not covered by any insurance. The total cost is $6,000 plus the cost of an organic diet. Brenda has been too weak to work since July and it is unknown when she will return.
If you know Brenda you know that she is one of the kindest souls around. She would do most anything to help both friends and strangers alike. Right now Brenda is in need of some help to cover the expenses she is facing.
Any amount will help so I am asking you to consider donating, paying it forward or to create some good karma for yourself. Most of all I am asking you to help my friend.
Thanks and God Bless ♥️
