UPDATE FROM BRENDON:

"Just wanted to give a quick update! 9 days in the hospital so far. Doctors are happy with the healing! Pain is wild but we are doing our best to manage it. The nursing staff here on the burn floor have been absolutely amazing. I can't thank my family and friends enough, this trying Time would be unbearable without you guys. You lift me up every day with your kind words and actions, you make me strong. I can't say how much I want to get home to my boys. I have never felt this kind of longing. This is a time of reflection and learning, I know that more good will come from this time than the pain that is has caused. I truly believe this happened for a reason. I'll hit you all with another update in the next couple days, everyday I get stronger. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being there for me, it's this kind of kindness that will change the world. "

Dear Friends,

I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of Brendon Ross, a devoted husband, loving father, and passionate baker. Brendon's journey has been one of hard work, determination, and a deep love for the craft of baking. As some of you may know, Brendon recently fulfilled his dream of starting his own bakery, the Peasant Bread Company, where he poured his heart and soul into crafting artisanal bread that delighted the taste buds of his community.

Brendon's story is one of resilience and perseverance. After years of honing his skills as a mason, he turned his attention to his true passion: baking. He spent countless hours teaching himself the art of breadmaking and built a beautiful stone, wood-fired oven on his property where he could bring his creations to life. His slow-fermented sourdough, savory Foccacia, and crispy baguettes quickly gained a loyal following.

However, tragedy struck when Brendon suffered extensive burns on his arms and face while tending to a bonfire. He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital, leaving his beloved bakery and his family's source of income in jeopardy. Brendon's wife, Sophia, has been tirelessly by his side, juggling hospital visits while caring for their two young boys, Finn and Ronan.

The road to recovery for Brendon will be long and arduous, and we can only imagine the financial strain his family is facing during this difficult time. That's why we're reaching out to our community for support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping Brendon and his family cover household bills, and other essential needs while he focuses on healing.

Let's come together to lift Brendon up during his time of need and show him the same love and support he has always shown to others. Your generosity will not only help Brendon on his journey to recovery but also ensure that the Peasant Bread Company can continue to thrive once he's back on his feet.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, compassion, and generosity.

With gratitude,

Family
