Brennan Johnson and Family Memorial Fund

We share this story as Lindsey’s family and friends helping her to pick up the pieces and maintain care for her two young children after the very unexpected, sudden, and tragic death of her husband, Brennan Johnson.

Brennan was on his regular jog this morning at Sawnee Mountain when he collapsed suddenly. A doctor happened to see him fall and immediately started CPR. He had already passed away by the time the ambulance arrived. An autopsy is pending, but the hospital believes he may have had a brain aneurysm.

Brennan is survived by his wife, Lindsey and his two small children, Addy (6) and Knox (2).

This is a complete shock to Lindsey and the family. Before this tragedy, Brennan was a healthy, vibrant, and loving father with no health problems. He had no life insurance and no safety net for this kind of tragedy.

Lindsey now suddenly finds herself a working, single mother of two young children. Taking any sort of leave to care for her husband’s funeral is not possible while being forced to maintain her day-to-day expenses, childcare, and keeping the home her children need for continuity. Lindsey’s family, friends, and community are rallying around her but unfortunately, cannot cover all of her needs in the coming months.
