Brennan’s Mission: Spreading Hope

Hi everyone,

My name is Brennan and I am blessed to be on an incredible journey that is close to my heart. I am excited to share that I have been called to spend the next year in Isla Vista, CA, as part of a ministry called Jesus Burgers. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through love, service, and yes, burgers!

Why Isla Vista and Jesus Burgers?

Isla Vista is a vibrant community, home to many college students and young adults. While it’s a place full of energy and life, it’s also a community in need of hope and connection. That’s where Jesus Burgers comes in. Every week, we set up on the streets, grilling burgers and offering them for free to anyone who wants one. But the burgers are just a way to open the door for something much deeper.

Through these simple acts of kindness, we create a space for conversations, prayer, and the sharing of the gospel. It’s amazing to see how a meal can break down barriers and allow us to connect on a personal level with people who might otherwise feel isolated or lost.

My Passion for This Mission

I have always had a passion for serving others and sharing the love of Christ, but this opportunity with Jesus Burgers has ignited something even deeper in me. There’s something incredibly powerful about meeting people where they are, without judgment, and simply offering them love and support. I’ve seen firsthand how these interactions can transform lives, including my own.

This mission isn’t just about feeding people; it’s about feeding souls. It’s about being a light in a sometimes dark world, and showing that even in the simplest acts, God’s love is present and powerful.

Why I Need Your Support

I’m fully committed to this mission, but I can’t do it alone. The next year will be filled with many challenges, including financial ones. Your support will help cover essential costs such as:

Living Expenses: Housing and daily needs while I’m in Isla Vista. I plan to find a job, but in the meantime, I want to contribute and be of service as I start this new journey.

Ministry Supplies: The food, materials, and other resources needed to keep the Jesus Burgers ministry going stronger than ever!

Outreach Efforts: Helping us expand our reach and connect with even more people in the community.
