To our Family and Friends of Brennen Michael Purnell,

If you haven’t heard the devastating news, Brennen Purnell unexpectedly passed away on Friday, April 8th.

His family is forever heartbroken and devastated, and we ask all to assist in their loss.

I’m Kitty Ottesen, aunt to Brennen Purnell.

Brennen had a strong presence and would light up the room when he entered with his friendly smile and outgoing personality, and he enlightened those present creating instant friendships. He loved his family deeply to all those around him. His devotion to his son Hunter was second to none, and Hunter misses his father deeply.

Brennen helped our family during the loss of our parents by reminiscing his life's memories with his grandparents in such a positive way that brought smiles to our faces and I want to repay him by honoring him and celebrating his life. He made us realize what life was about. When Brennen walked into a room, Brennen put everyone in a better mood; simply from his mere presence, his laugh, goofiness, loving smile and loving personality will leave a legacy we all will definitely miss. He was one of a kind and his passing has left so much pain in our hearts. He was truly loved.

His passing at an early age left his family unprepared as he did not have a life insurance policy.

With Brennen’s unexpected death, his mother Krissy and family were not financially prepared for such circumstances. No mother should have to bury her own son. Brennen deserves to be properly laid to rest and we will see fit to do so.

As part of the family, I am starting this Go Fund Me account to help Krissy & Bill cover costs associated with his tragic loss to cover funeral expenses, a celebration of life and a scholarship fund for Brennen’s son, Hunter Michael.

I know Kris, Hunter and the entire family would be grateful for anything anyone can contribute who are grieving Brennen's heartbreaking passing.
