Support For Brent and the Carls

Hello,

I am creating this fundraiser for my friends, the Carls. Brent was just diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and as expected, this news is devastating for their family. Even though the diagnosis is new, Brent has not been feeling well for some time. Due to his poor health, he has been unable to work and was let go from his job. The loss of his job has meant the loss of steady income. Regular expenses compounded with astronomical medical bills are taking an enormous financial toll. With their two amazing children, Serena and Ethan, in college, Brent and Bonnie are facing these bills being added to an already difficult financial situation. I would love for us to be able to take this worry off their minds while they focus on Brent and their time together as a family.

If you know the Carls, you know that this is a family with a servant's heart. They have served youth and families at churches throughout New England and New York. Brent has been a pastor and youth pastor, has gone on mission trips to other countries, and he was most recently working at a food bank. Bonnie has been a school teacher and has helped Brent with his ministries. So many of us have been touched by this loving, faithful family in one way or another over the years! Please keep them in your prayers, asking for God's healing of Brent and peace and comfort for him and his family. If you are able, consider donating to help them with their mounting expenses.
