Brent Wimmer’s Road to a New Heart

On September 1st 2022, our family received news that Brent will need a heart transplant as his heart was barely functioning at 10%. Unfortunately, he is not yet eligible for a transplant at this time.

He had major open heart surgery on September 15th to have a left ventricular assistance device attached to his heart to keep it pumping until he can qualify for a new heart.

While he heals in the hospital, Brent and his family will need help financially as there is still a long road to recovery ahead of him.
