Brent Raiders White Mini Mites Need You!
Hello Everyone,
My name is Chris Bullock and I am the new 2013-2014 Head Football Coach of the Brent Raiders White Mini Mites (7 to 8 year olds).
Friends, I am asking for your help and support in increasing the football experience of the young men I will receive on our team in the upcoming 2013 season. As with any recreational sports program, fundraising is vital to obtaining certain necessities. In our case, fundraising is extremely important due largely to the fact that a great deal of our youth come from lower income based homes. The sad truth is, many of these households cannot afford things like registration fees, cleats, pads, team colored socks, and other things that would assist in providing their kids with a pleasurable experience.
It is for these reasons, me and the rest of my coaching staff are attempting to raise $10,000 (Updated as of 2/16/2013, now only trying to raise $5000) in order to make this year the most memorable year ever for the players and parents. It is our goal to be able to supply help when needed to less fortunate parents and the extras that make a big difference to the boys. 100% of money donated will go towards the youth on our football team. It will be turned in to the BYSA Treasurer, Terrance Jennings, where it will be applied to our White Mini Mites' fund.
Here is a list of some of the few things we are trying to do for our youth on our team this year:
- Matching team socks and gloves (Pink ones for October)
- - Team Party where:
- - Individual trophies spotlighting the boys for their hard work and sacrifice, that can be handed out. Every boy will receive a trophy in this regard.
- - Personalized Game Duffel Bags, (In order to carry their helmets, cleats, and shoulder pads
- - Matching cleats for the entire team
- - Warm Ups
We are hoping that we can reach this goal by June 1st 2013, so that we can make preparations where needed and help assist those who need help as well, but we will continue to raise money through the season as well. I pray that you will be led to give what you can and I feel confident that our goal will be met with the help and support of each one of you.
