Bret and Jess Merritt

UPDATE: Bret will be having major surgery on September 23rd. The cancer has spread into the neck of the bladder so it has ended up being more invasive then originally thought

PLEASE if anyone can donate and or send prayers  to our great friends as they are going through a hard time, Bret has been diagnosed with a moderate to aggressive prostate cancer!

Bret and Jessica are two of our best friends. They are amazing parents and grandparents and have the most generous hearts. They mean the world to us and are in need of some help for medical bills and finances from being out of work while they go thru everything these next few months.

Jess and Bret have been through a lot the last two years. Jess was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had surgery, their daughter Ella had an accident and spent a while in chkd and they almost lost her, then Jess mom passed away from cancer  a few months after that. On top of that Jess has a heart condition that she has to deal with daily. Bret has always been supportive through all of that being there for the family and taking care of the house.

Bret was diagnosed with a moderate to aggressive prostate cancer. He is only 46 and it doesn’t run in his family. They were never expecting this. He still needs a pet scan to rule out becoming stage 4. He will need a major surgery plus other treatments.

Bret and Jess are going to really need support and help in this time as medical bills are already piling up and they both will be missing work, especially Bret being out for long term periods.

Anything donated would be much appreciated , our friends need as much help as they can get right now.
