Bret Corbridge funeral and family living expenses

 
Meet my friend Bret Corbridge and his family. He was an amazing Husband and Best friend to his wife Samantha Corbridge. He was the father to three wonderful daughters (Tiegan, Raven, Aliyah) and his amazing son (Ronan). He loved each of them more than words can express. He worried daily and had a fear that something would happen to one of them. Little did we know that instead of something happening to his wife and children, it was Bret that would lose his life. Last night on eve of the Fall Equinox where we begin to lose more daylight, we lost a bright and shiny light. He was a fierce defender of the truth and loved Jesus Christ and His gospel.
 
Many years ago, Bret was given a second chance to live and used every opportunity to teach others about his love for Christ.
 
I met Bret after reading his book he wrote in 2008 about his near death experience after a terrible accident. He wrote: "While my body lay on the ground waiting for the helicopter to come from the hospital, one of my neighbors went to notify my wife and bring her to the accident. Upon arriving at the scene a calm horror came over her. She began to plead silently for my life...
 
Fast forward to this week, once again his wife Samantha was pleading for Bret's life after admitted into ICU in Twin Falls Idaho. Despite many prayers, fasts, and blessings from those who loved him, last night we lost an amazing dad, a loving husband, and loyal friend.
 
I have a hard time understanding why some people have to suffer so much in this world. As if losing her husband isn't hard enough, two months ago, Samantha lost her twin sister to a brain aneurysm. I don't think I can even comprehend her grief.
 
Not knowing how to help my friend, Bret and his wife in this time of need, I thought I would set up this gofundme account to help them with funeral expenses as well as living expenses. I miss my friend and pray for his wife and his family at this time.

I will be withdrawing the donations to give to Samantha with her authorization to cover the costs of the funeral as well as living expenses (rent, food etc) she is able to get back on her feet after the loss of her husband.
