Bret Zimmerman's Recovery Fund

My name is Laney Zimmerman. My in-laws, Bret & Christy Zimmerman, live and minister in a rural village in Alaska that is only accessible by small aircraft. They have a huge passion and heart for building relationships and ministering to everyone they come into contact with.

 

Bret was badly injured in a plane crash on his way home from a neighboring village on March 5th, 2022, along with 4 others. We are praising God that he is alive (as well as the other 4 passengers) and have seen God's mercy and provision through this tragedy. It is a true miracle, and by God's grace, that everyone is alive.

 

Bret was airlifted to an Anchorage hospital where he has been receiving treatment since the accident. Without going into the specifics of Bret's injuries, he is expected to make a full recovery. However, the recovery process will be long, painful, and expensive. We have no idea what the road ahead looks like at this point, but we know it will be taxing.

 

Many people have been asking how they can help, and we are so grateful for the outpour of love and support to our entire family!! We are finally able to nail down a practical way that would help Bret and Christy immensely. As you might have guessed, medical bills and expenses add up quickly. All donations are appreciated, no matter how big or small. They all help. We have no idea what the actual expenses will be, but will communicate effectively as we navigate all that is going on.
