Marathon with a meaning for Brett Collier

Hi guys I’m running my first ever marathon on April 28th which I was only doing for a life goal but I have just received the worst news about my Uncle that gives this run a lot more meaning.

I have set this fund raiser up to try and help my Uncle Brett. Back in May 2023 my Uncle found out he had rectal colon cancer and he went through extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy, through those tough times things as a family were a massive struggle as he does not have life insurance and is self employed so no income was coming in.

After all this he went back for a scan to see if it had shrunk and finally have some good news. Only to be told the cancer had spread to both sides of his liver which is very aggressive, he has been told he has a life expectancy of 1 year to 5 years left.

This has been devastating news to our family to find out he now has to go through even more aggressive treatment with the hope of returning to work now not being possible and this is why I would like to raise money for him.

Any donation big or small would be really appreciated. After some research my family have found a place in Germany called frankfurt university hospital which offer more extensive treatment, we are hoping if we raise enough money that this will be something Brett will be able to receive.
