Brett Dupuy 5/21/68-2/18/22

Brett Edward Dupuy born May 21, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio; died February 18, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio where he had been living for over 30 years. His sister was by his side when he passed peacefully. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Osborn) Dupuy, his father Lynn Edward Dupuy, his sister Tammy Dupuy Marquardt, his nephews Thomas James Marquardt and Zachary Edward Marquardt.

 

We will have a celebration of life for Brett Edward Dupuy on May 21, 2022 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Columbus at 11 am.

 

Brett was born premature, which resulted in several vulnerabilities leading to his disabilities. Those disabilities increased over his lifetime. In spite of all, he was a happy, intelligent, loving, funny guy who had many friends and acquaintances. Once he met you, he never forgot you. He was a member of St. Patricks Church in Columbus and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved participating in the Ohio Association for the Deaf and Blind and their many activities. Silent Weekend camping events were his all-time favorite. Anyone who knew him will feel our loss.

 

Brett was an active member of The Ohio Association for Blind-Deaf and took part in many activities they provide for the Blind-Deaf Community. Brett's family established this GoFundMe for the sole purpose of donating money to his favorite activity.
