Brett Dusick and Family

Our beloved father, brother, partner, and friend Brett Dusick was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident on the morning of May 2nd. Brett was transferred from the Sudbury ICU to Sunnybrook ICU in Toronto to undergo further surgeries and tests. He suffered serious and life-threatening injuries to his body as a result of the accident. Currently, he is in an induced coma as they monitor him and prepare him for the next steps. He is stable but not out of the weeds yet. He being taken care of by the best team of nurses, doctors, surgeons, and staff members.

Donations will be used to cover travel and hotel expenses for his family during this time. There has been no timeline set for his stay at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Having his family with him during this time is paramount to ensure he gets the proper care and is surrounded by his loved ones.

Brett is a loving father to Aubrie, Grayson, and Lincoln. Brett and Kelsie, his fiancee, are awaiting the arrival of their newest member of the family to be born this July. With three kids and one on the way, this is an earth shattering time for his family. Lise, or Momma D to some, is a rock. She loves her son and continues to support the family as always.

Brett is a fighter. If you know him, you know that he was the first person to lend a helping hand. He was the first call for many people when they needed an ear to listen, a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, or a task completed.

To the staff at Sudbury ICU, thank you. To all of the staff that are currently monitoring him, thank you. To the friends and family who have reached out and continue to show support, we thank you.
