Brett Hyland Recovery Fund

As many of you know, my son Brett was involved in a horrific automobile accident resulting in traumatic brain injuries. Brett was on his way home after a long work day to take care of his three children ages 13, 10 and 5 when he was cut off by a reckless driver who fled the scene.  Brett was given little chance for survival, but he has demonstrated a strong will to live.

Unfortunately, surviving the accident is only the beginning . The extent of his brain injuries have not yet to be fully identified . He is being transferred from the ICU to the trauma rehabilitation hospital today, Friday 9/2 at 6:00pm.  He has only been authorized for a two week stay under his insurance. Once he completes that course of treatment, Brett will require 24 hour care until his brain functions become more normalized and he becomes ambulatory.

Our short term goal is to raise $50,000 immediately to build handicap accessible renovations to his home and pay for 24 hour care until family members can take over that responsibility.

If you are able, please consider donating.  Absolutely any contribution will help. If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider helping by sharing this page. Thank you for your help and
thanks to everyone who have already reached out to show their love and support.
