We are both extremely honoured to have been accepted to serve on the African Mercy, in Cameroon February 2018. As part of the Mercy Ships program as Peri Operative Nurses in Theatre.
The Mercy Ships is a non-profit organisation the has been providing safe, free lifesaving surgeries and health care to some of the worlds poorest people. They have been doing this in particular in West Africa for the last 30+ years.
We are doing this as we want to give back, We have been given opportunity, skills, knowledge and a good life. We both now believe its our chance to help give hope and healing to someone less fortunate than ourselves.
The money we are rasing is going towards our costs which include : travel expenses to/from Australia to Cameroon , the cost of board on the ship (Crew Fees), immunisations and Travel Insurance. Any money over and above this will be given to Mercy Ships Australia to help the on going work.
Any donation will be greatly recieved. You can do this through this page or directly to Brett or Jonathan.
Many thanks in advance.
