Brett Leftwich Family Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Brett Leftwich passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 21st. He was definitely his own kind of man and never cared about what others thought. He had a kid like spirit and constantly showed genuine excitement for life. He could make anything fun and would stop at nothing to make you laugh. He was proud to be an avid part of the Dallas Roller Derby and Zombie Squad communities. His friend base spans the globe and he would do anything to help anyone. He never judged others and accepted and loved people of who they were. He encouraged others to love and accept themselves as well.
He lived at his parents’ home and looked after them. He did much of the cooking and helped his mother care for his elderly father. They are trying to cope with this sudden loss and the huge impact it will have on their lives. The agony of his absence and not seeing his face every day is immense for them. He is no longer around to help them out with day to day life.
The intent of these funds are to be use for his Life Celebration services happening in February.
They will also go towards some home repair costs. Due to the circumstances of how his passing transpired there is some work needed on the house for the family to make it more livable.
Also he and his mother used an older truck for transportation which he maintained to keep it running. He took the responsibility of driving her most places as it could be finicky. In his absence his mother, Sherry, will need help with some more reliable transportation. Our hope is that she may use some of these funds to acquire it.
Money cannot bring him back, which is the greatest wish. His premature passing has created undeniable needs in his parent’s lives. Any donation you might be able to give could help them with some peace of mind as they try to deal with all this. Even if you are not able to give monetarily, your love and support mean the world to his family.
