Brett Roat Memorial Fund
Donation protected
We are devastated to share that beloved husband, father, coach, and mentor, Brett Roat, passed away this weekend. Brett was an incredibly loving and caring husband and father, as well as a wonderful role model to so many young men and women whom he coached throughout the years.
Brett passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 18th, 2021. He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Nikki, and his children: Brenden, (age 18), Aubrey (age 6), Brett Jr., (age 2), and nearly three-month-old daughter, Delaney.
Brett’s legacy of passion and personal connections lives on throughout the numerous young men and women he coached at the Chicago Fury ‘AAA’ Hockey organization for over 14 years.
Those blessed to have crossed paths with Brett know his cackling laugh, infectious positivity, and his care-free, loving attitude toward everyone he encountered.
With this sudden tragedy, we are asking for donations to help off-set the costs of the funeral services, and to help provide future care for Brett’s wife and three children.
If you are able to do so, please consider donating and sharing this page. It would mean the world to those who knew and loved Brett that we have taken care of his family. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time.
