Brett's Kidney Transplant & Recovery

Hi my name is Sara and I am starting a go fund me for my dad, Brett. I am also honored to say, I am his direct kidney donor. Nothing about kidney transplant comes easy. The emotional burden of such a life changing surgery is more than enough to deal with and we would love to ease the financial burden.

This has really taken a toll on our family and as our transplant date approaches (January 4th), I know my dad is struggling thinking about making ends meet while he recovers.

The amount of labs, office visits, testing and co-pays eventually adds up along with every day basic bills. Not to mention, driving to dialysis three times a week and/or all the other appointments.

We want Brett to be able to focus on preparing for, undergoing and recovering from this without worrying so much about the large financial strain. Yes, insurance covers a lot but there are still large outstanding balances for such big procedure. Recovery from transplant surgery requires major life changes in order to keep him safe and healthy.

We want Brett to be able to continue living a life and see his grandchildren grow up.
