Brian and I are asking for Help After Fire loss

As many of you know, like so many others, Brian and I have experienced an unimaginable loss due to the LA / Eaton Fires in Altadena CA. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out with kind words and support. Your love and compassion mean the world to us, and we truly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.❤️

Many of you have asked how you can help, and honestly, we’re at a loss for how to answer. We have nothing left—it’s exactly as they say: you leave with only the clothes on your back. This has been an incredibly humbling experience for us. We’ve always been the givers, not the ones asking for help. I've spent years on non-profit committees helping others, and now the roles have reversed. It's not easy for us to ask for support, but we’ve been encouraged to create a GoFundMe account to help us begin to restart our lives.

I’ll be honest—this is far outside our comfort zone. It’s hard to share feelings of shame and embarrassment, even though I know I shouldn’t. Right now, we’re also feeling numb, devastated, and lost. Not only did we lose everything we owned, but I also worked from home. My business, Eeze Natural Health, and all of my Travel-eeze inventory, which I poured my heart into building, are gone. It was my baby. It will take time and resources.

Yes, we do have insurance, and while it will help us in time, the reality is that it’s a lengthy process. Sadly, we do need support now to address the immediate challenges we’re facing.
