Brian and Jeanette Healy

In my 10th grade of high school, I met Jeanette and, shortly after, her soon-to-be husband, Brian Healy. That chance meeting at Suncoast Video would alter the direction of my life. That was almost 30 years ago. I would meet some of the most unique and diverse people through them. In no small part, this was due to Jeanette's acceptance of pretty much everyone. Brian and Jeanette lived Diversity and Inclusion before they were HR buzzwords.

We formed Eclipsos Armoury as we grew, crafted, costumed, and competed. Tagging along with Jeanette, we were introduced to Arisa, Shore Leave, Lunacon, Balticon, and more. For her small size, her gravity pulls more and more people toward her, and Eclipsos continued to grow.

Brian and Jeanette's impact on our lives as we grew cannot be understated. They became like mother and father, brother and sister, aunt and uncle to all of us. They guided us from the dark places, or off the ledge. They opened their doors and their home to many of us. They encourged us, celebrated our successes, and supported us in our time of grief. They're now showering their love onto new generations of Eclipsos. They've been a constant in a world of change and challenge.

Many of us have gone on to complete time in the military, finish college, start families and careers. Brian and Jeanette continue to be our biggest cheerleaders. They follow us all as if we were their own kids. It does not matter how many miles seperate us now.

Unfortunately, sometimes the best people get dealt a bad hand. Jeanette has been diagnosed with ALS. Her and Brian are doing their best to cope, but hey could use some help. Jeanette's condition means a need for wheelchairs, ramps, stair lifts, and bathroom remodels. And that is in addition to all of the lost days of work, medical bills, and more. Brian is also a master craftsman in a business that is still reeling from shutdowns during the pandemic.

Lady J deserves all that we can spare to help them in thier time of need, just like they have given to all of us over these many years. Please, open your hearts and wallets to support two of the most amazing people we know.
