Brian Baldwin Memorial Fund

The world lost a great man on Friday, July 28th, 2023. MSgt Brian Baldwin was tragically taken from this earth on his morning commute while involved in an accident with a lumber truck.

As his supervisor at our unit at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, I got to know Brian as the loving father, passionate husband and mentor that most of you knew him as. But I wanted to say a few things here about Brian that you may not have known about.

MSgt Brian Baldwin was a hero. He was one of the silent professionals that don't get talked about because his work was not for public knowledge. Brian had 23 deployments, and thousands of hours flying in intelligence and command and control platforms. Brian did more for this country and our freedoms than most, and he never complained about the hours, the constant flying and the constant deploying. He was a patriot. He was also an evaluator aviator and had to teach and test his students before they were ready to deploy. Over his career a taught a few hundred students himself and ensured they would be able to support the warfighter in combat zones all over the world.

Brian sacrificed for his country and so did his family. You see, Brian has 6 children and a loving wife that got left behind so many times for his service. Now, the family has to pick up what Brian was so brilliant at doing, being the rock of his family's everything.

They need our help, for the kids, for the house, for the cars, for everything that Brian would have provided as the sole income earner. A meal train has earned them a few thousand dollars but that won't last long and that won't pay for the things that will very soon have to be paid that we just don't think about after we lose a loved one.
