Hi, my name is Betsey, I am Brian’s sister. Brian passed away too soon, at the age of 32,and reminded us how unfair and short life can truly be.
Brian is survived by his mother, father, sister, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brian was a beloved son, brother, uncle (now), brother-in-law, nephew, grandson, cousin, friend, and colleague. He cherished his relationships with his friends and family. Brain loved going out with friends collecting nectar, traveling, and spending time with family.
Brian was always very driven, adventurous, and creative. His passion started with legos and continued his passion for film. Brian fell in love with film at a very young age. At the age of 7, he was taking pictures and recording our family vacations.
In middle school, Brian took an elective film class where he created a pinhole camera.
In high school, Brian was part of a video production class. In his junior year, he won a state award for his Peru video work.
Brian graduated high school and was accepted to CSULB. While in college Brian worked for Apple computers as an apple genius.Brian was accepted to the film program and graduated from Cal State film program in 2009, summa cum laude.
After graduation, Brian worked for a production company, BHE.
He branched off and created his own company. Brian worked on countless shows and traveled the world. Brian was very well known for his creation of the aerial hyperlapse.
This is just a short view of Brians's lifelong love for film. So in his honor, we have opened a scholarship in Brian’s name to help support others studying film at California State University, Long Beach.
All donations will be going directly to a scholarship fund in Brian’s name for other students at California State Long Beach film program.
We miss you dearly Brian and love you.
