Brian Burhenn

Our good friend, Brian Burhenn and his wife Jenny, need our help. Brian was recently diagnosed with ALS, which is a fatal neurodegenerative disease in which a person's brain loses connection with the muscles. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe.
As everyone knows, Brian is usually not one who asks for help. Instead, he has always been the one who helps others. He has been reluctant to ask for financial help, but now admits the financial costs are beginning to stack up. Since the need will only increase with time, he reluctantly has given the OK to set this up. Examples of how your contributions will be used are: medications and treatments, modifications to the home, special equipment and aids, and other future needs as the disease progresses.
Brian is a friend to everyone, and has dedicated his life to helping others. If you’ve been lucky to know Brian, he likely has helped you in some way - maybe by lending a helping hand or certainly by making you laugh. For those who haven’t had the good fortune of knowing Brian, he’s been a firefighter for 30 years and has given endless hours volunteering to many causes (CHAMP Camp, Peoples Burn Foundation, Riley Children’s Hospital… just to name a few!)
PLEASE consider donating to this cause if you can. Brian is now embarking on his most difficult journey and needs our help…and it’s our turn to give back to him! ❤️
