Brian & Corrie-Lyn Lost Everything in a House Fire
Donation protected
Hi, we are Rowena and John. This fundraiser is to help Rowena's sister's family get back on their feet after losing everything in a house fire; their home, their car, contents in storage, etc.
It's not just replacing items lost, but also the time and effort it takes to replace driver's licenses, bank cards, important documents, etc. But also dealing with this as you slowly remember and come to terms with having lost all your personal belongings, clothes, treasured memories and so on. Money can't replace all those things, but it will show them support and help them get started again.
Corrie-Lyn writes:
On Wednesday morning the 3rd of April our world was turned upside down. Our home and car was totally destroyed by fire. There are no words to describe the devastation and trauma that was experienced for my family. The fire engulfed our home so quickly that we had only moments to retrieve a few items. Due to our location, unfortunately our house and contents were not insured.
It will be a long road to recovery but we will rebuild again. Please pray for our family and thank you for your support.
