Brian E. Funkhouser, age 43 died unexpectedly on December 16, 2020. His wife, Leah and son Zach and his four-legged daughter Bailey--- and all of the family and friends are devastated at this sudden loss of our dear Brian.
Brian was quiet, but oh so very funny and witty. If you didn't listen closely you would miss his contributions. Brian and Leah met as teenagers and it was love at first site. The married in 1998 and had their Son Zachary in 1999. Brian was an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend. It would be hard to find anyone that did not like Brian. He was a real thinker and concerned for others going through hard times and would always step up to help.
While this unstoppable heartbreak is what we are facing in these first days and weeks, what comes next is the purpose for our call for help.
At the time of Brian's death, he was the sole wage earner. It will take some time for Leah to land on her feet and be able to secure her future. In that time, we would love to keep her and Zach as financially stable as possible while they navigate the next difficult steps.
It has been a hard, hard 2020. We recognize this and know that everyone is tapped out. If you are inclined and able to make a donation-- please know how eternally grateful Leah and Zach will be and know that you would be contributing to their future stability and allowing them to take a breath and plan accordingly.
Thank you in advance for anything you are able to give.
