Brian is in bad shape. He needs help.

In the Seattle/Tacoma area, many in the MTB community know Brian. He’s the old guy who has been on a Ticket S for years now. If you ride jumps anywhere in the area, you’ve probably had a chat or two with the guy.

Brian is a PNW bike bum. To him, bikes are life. He lives for this stuff, as many of us around here do.

He is always quick to help guide a newbie, give a deserved compliment, and sometimes demand adherence to the rules, or maybe complain about the condition of the trails. You probably know the guy in some way.

I love him. He walked me, and my son, through learning how to ride jumps. We have both spent many hours in the woods with Brian and Bikes.

Brian had a crash last week. He has lost the use of his limbs. He has a tough road ahead. At this time I don’t know what he’ll need, exactly..but his needs being medical, and he not being wealthy man, I’m sure his needs will far exceed what we, as a collective, could ever raise. I only hope to help provide some comfort for the guy in these days ahead of him. I can’t even imagine what he’s going through.
