The Family and the Funeral Committee are organizing a fundraiser for the repatriation and funeral expenses of Brian who passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

Brian's body was found by Winnipeg Police on July 17 after going missing for a few days. His parents had not been in touch with him for about two weeks prior to his demise.

The family which resides in Kenya is devastated by the death of their son and has not gotten any real information about the circumstances that led to this tragedy.

Brian was born on October 15, 2000 and studied in Kenya till completion of his secondary school education. He always wanted to study in Canada so arrived in Winnipeg, MB on August 28, 2019 to study at International College of Manitoba (ICM). His plan was to pursue an ICT program at the adjacent University of Manitoba.

According to his dad, Brian was a bright and kind student who was loved by his family and friends. He had a dog named Boss who unfortunately died when Brian was in Canada but he requested to have the dog given a decent burial promising to place flowers on the dog's grave when he goes back home, which unfortunately will not happen.

As a child, Brian loved electronic toys and cars. His father has an older Nissan 1200 pick up truck that Brian had asked him not to sell as he wanted to repair it then drive it to visit his grandparents when he goes home.

The family is struggling financially and is not able to raise the money ($25,000) needed to return Brian back to his loving family for one last reunion before he is put in his final resting place.

We are humbly requesting for help to assist the family in this truly trying time. No amount is too small as we need help to give Brian a decent send off.

Brian leaves behind his parents - Hellen and Jacob Limo, his siblings - Matthew Kipkemoi, Gloria Jepkoech, and Jael Jebet, his grandparents, extended family members, and a host of friends both in Kenya and in Canada.

A service in memory of Brian is being planned in Winnipeg and will be announced in due course.
