Brian Lanter's medical bills

Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Tanya and my dearest friends need your help with medical bills. They would never ask for help so I decided to ask for them. As most of you know Brian had a siezure driving to work 2/2/22 which resulted in a car accident (thankfully no other cars were involved) and a trip to the hospital. Brian has never had a siezure prior to this. The neurologist placed him on medical leave from work immediately. After many new meds Brian continued to have siezures so his dr would not release him back to work yet. While still on medical leave his employer fired him in June of 2022 resulting in the loss of his medical insurance. Amy's employer does not offer spousal health insurance and medicaid denied him
Cobra and Obama Care was not an option due to its cost and after monthly bills and loss of Brian's income there was no money left over to pay for it. Brian applied for disability as advised by his doctors and was denied. Brian continued to have siezures and had doctors to see and tests that had to be done on his brain all without insurance. June 27, 2023 Brian was admitted to ICU and there for 7 days before going to step down and being released on July 10, 2023. This stay racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars being self pay. After more than a year of trying Brian was finally approved for disability however he does not get the disability health insurance until Feb 2024. In the meantime Brian has once again been admitted to ICU on Jan 8, 2024 after having Influenza for a week and having multiple siezures causing falls that resulted in multiple broken bones, fractures, a brain bleed, critical sodium level, and now an infection in his lungs that won't clear up. He is currently on a vent to help him breath due to the lung infection, he is mostly sedated and dealing with low oxygen, tachycardia, fever just to name a few. So you can see how this is racking up more bills being self pay. Dr.'s are not even trying to guess when he will be out of ICU. Brian and Amy are some of the greatest most selfless people you will ever meet, even if they are struggling they are the 1st people there to help anyone whether they know you or not. Please consider donating to this much needed cause and if you can't donate that's ok just keep Brian and the whole Lanter family in your prayers, they will be extremely greatful and appreciative.

Thanks
Tanya
