Brian O'Brien

Hi, I am Samantha and I am fundraising for my brother Brian who has been diagnosed for the third time with Germ Cell Cancer. It has been a devastating blow for him and our family as this reoccurrence is rare. Brian is a hardworking, caring and proud man with a loving family and has undergone so many doctor appointments and testing which has severely impacted his ability to make ends meet because of the copays and time off from work. Upcoming TIP Chemotherapy is harsh and it will be done on an inpatient basis due to the significant harsh side effects. He will be hospitalized for one week of chemo treatment and off for two weeks and the cycle starts again for 3 more rounds. He will then be evaluated to see if further chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery will be needed. Though Brian is a strong-willed person and will continue to work as he is able, the reality is that this is a harsh regimen and he will be missing a significant time from work. He will need to continue to pay his monthly bills, medical insurance, copays for Dr appointments, testing, medications, chemotherapy and hospital stays regardless of his ability to work. Any help our family ,friends, and any generous contributors can provide to help is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. My hope is the support you provide will relieve Brian's stress and allow him to concentrate on beating his cancer.
