Brian Rich: husband, father, son, brother & friend

In the middle of December, Brian Rich was taken from us after suddenly, surprisingly, and tragically falling ill. Far too young, Brian left behind his wife (Emily), his infant daughter (Edith), and too many family members and friends to count.

He will be truly and deeply missed for the rest of our days.

Brian was a gentle and kind person who always lit up a room. He brought out the best in people and gave us all so many incredible memories. He will always be with us, and the memories he left us with will last forever. Brian was well known for his quick wit, his personality that constantly impressed and surprised, and for being an incredibly loyal and loving person. Personally and professionally Brian was recognized as dependable, creative, and dedicated. He was a lover of family, parties, sports, film, music, photojournalism, cooking, video games, and so much more. He was always smiling and laughing- someone everyone gravitated toward.

But the accomplishments that lit Brian up the most were his marriage to Emily and the recent birth of his daughter, Edith, two people he's leaving behind way too soon. Just starting on his journey as a father, Brian was a natural Dad who filled his daughter's days with patience, fun, and love.

We are all saddened by both the loss of Brian and the impact his loss will have on his young family. The timing of Brian's death is exceptionally difficult on the people who love him and will always love him.
