Brian Roland medical expenses

Hi, my name is Jenn Stockbridge! As many of you know Brian has been fighting a battle against T-cell lymphoma since the summer of 2020. He Started treatments of chemo shortly after his diagnosis but the cancer hardly reacted to it. So they moved onto the first stem cell transplant using his own stem cells, Unfortunately that didn’t take so they put him on a worldwide registry to find the perfect donor. They found a German soldier in his 30’s that was the perfect stem cell match and had his stem cells flown over to start the procedure. Unfortunately after a couple months that didn’t take either. He now has multiple cancerous tumors growing throughout his body and the cancer has moved into his blood. He is now taking an experimental medication called Jakafi to try and counteract the tumors and cancer as well, which has created a substantial amount of out of pocket expenses! His current prognosis as of December 2022 was 3-5 months to live. He has 2 visits a week with his oncologist, At the moment everything is a waiting game to see if the new meds will work or not! The family has kept most of this very private as they’ve been navigating a new way of life the past few years with being in and out of the hospital and Brian not being able to work. They’ve been a huge part of our family and our lakeside community for many many years and have spent countless hours donating their time into the schools, PTA & FFA, so it’s time we ALL step up and show the the support they deserve! Anything helps at this point
