Help Family with Funeral for Brian Ronshausen
Donation protected
With a heavy heart and deep sadness I must announce that our beloved Brian has passed on. My family and I want to express our gratitude to the United States Coast Guard, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the community of commercial fisherman on the Treasure Coast and the hundreds of private individuals that gave their time, resources and prayers to help find Brian. The outpouring of support from the community has touched our hearts’ in a way that we will never forget. Thank you ALL! Brian was a funny, charismatic, and loving man. My earliest memories of my brother were when I was four. He would let me ride on his skateboard with him by clinging on to his leg like a tiny spider monkey. I know one I will see him again. When that day comes I fully expect him to flex his biceps, point and ask me, “Which way is the beach?” I love you Bro and you will be missed.
It is with a humble and grateful heart that we call on our community once more to help us give Brian a proper send off so that we may have a place to remember him as the years pass. Brian was only fifty years young so his passing is as unexpected as it is devastating. Given his age there were no prior arrangements made by him or his family. The little bit of research I have been able to do has shown me that the average funeral cost in South Florida is roughly $6,500.00 or more. I am starting a GoFundMe in hopes of helping us be able to give Brian and the rest of our family the closure that we all need. Any and all contributions will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to contribute please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible. Thank you.
