Hello my name is Sandi Shofner and I am creating this fund raiser for my daughter Amber and grand children. Amber's husband Brian had cancer so she could not get life insurance as his pre existing diagnosis. Brian had colon cancer that mastisised into his bladder. They removed his colon and resected the bladder and created a J pouch inside. 1 1/2 year later he was to have a simple surgery to reconstruct what was left with the j pouch with the small intestines. Brian ended up with a perforated intestine and the intestines died and could not be sustainable for life. Since his death was untimely he left his wife Amber with 4 minor children to support and with no burial insurance it will be financially hard for the family. The children range in age 17, 14, 14 & 7.
