On January 6th, 2023, one of our firemen, Brian Reeder, was seriously injured in the horrific accident on 109 that claimed the lives of 3 people. Brian was going home after picking up his son from the school dance when an individual crossed left of center colliding with a car and proceeding to strike the vehicle that was being driven by Brian. The injuries that he has sustained required immediate surgery and he will be unable to work and provide for his family for an undisclosed amount of time.
Brian is devoted to his family and our Silver Valley Community, helping others in need and dedicating his time as a volunteer firefighter. On the behalf of Brian and his family; the Silver Valley Fire Department would like to raise funds to go towards his medical expenses, living expenses while out of work and to lighten the burden of financial stress.
Brian and his family want to extend their appreciation for those who have reached out to him and their family during this time. If one is led to help, no amount is too small, and all donations are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to give a monetary donation, we ask that you please continue to keep this family in your prayers.
