Here's a message from Brian:

My name is Brian Wray, I share my 4 children, Gracey, Jace, Elley & Joah, with my wife, Liz. I was born and raised in Virginia and am a huge sports fan! I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2016,

about a week before my daughter Elley was born. Hearing the word cancer was a complete shock and rocked our entire family's world as we knew it. I've had countless chemo and radiation treatments, 3 major surgeries, holistic treatments, several outpatient procedures and too many scans/doctor appointments to being to count. The cancer started in my colon and metastasized to my lymph nodes, liver and both lungs. Currently the cancer is centralized to both lungs and stable in the colon. The many tumors in my lungs have made breathing normally a very difficult thing for me, especially over the last two and a half years. During this difficult trial I've had to transition from my career in banking, to permanent disability due to my health conditions. Despite the many challenges and struggles, God has been so faithful to our family, and we have experienced so many blessings along the way. This battle belongs to God and our faith and hope will continue to remain in Him, for He alone is able.
