Briana Martinez with medical and living expenses

I am raising money for a dear friend and coworker of mine, Briana Martinez. Briana has been working as a permanent substitute at Pakanasink Elementary School for the past two years. She was recently diagnosed with neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. Briana has already missed over a week of work due to a recent hospitalization of 11 days. She is currently awaiting the results of a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread. As soon as those results are received she will be undergoing a very complicated surgery with a long recovery time- during which she will not be able to work. I am hoping to raise funds to help Briana through this difficult time and to alleviate some of the financial burden that this horrible diagnosis has caused. Briana is a wonderful teacher, daughter, sister, and friend- just to name a few.
