My daughter Briana Murphy was in a horrible car accident on March,18 2021. She was driving to Orlando from Tampa on I-75 to come visit me, her mother, and our family. She was involved in a horrific accident and her car flipped 10 times into on coming traffic. She was driving by herself and the accident is still under investigation.
The injuries sustained are unbearable. We we are blessed she is alive.
Her left leg and right arm are broken. She has six fractured ribs. She broke her collar bone and she has three slipped disks. Both of her lungs were punctured. She had to have a piece of her skull removed and preserved in a skull bank until they can get the bleeding and swelling to go down from the brain trauma due to the accident.
Brianna has made it through three brain surgeries, one leg surgery and one pelvic surgery. She still has a long road to travel down for her recovery.
My baby Brianna is a great person with a heart of gold. She just turned 23 six days prior to this accident and has her whole life in front of her. She's a successful college student and has worked diligently to kickstart a modeling career. A couple weeks ago one of her photos was selected and printed on the cover of a magazine in Paris, France. I hate to see my baby going through this pain and wish no person nor family to ever have to go through a situation like this.
I am not going to post pictures of her from the hospital because they are extremely graphic and I know my sweet baby would not be happy if I shared those on a public website. I am however putting a few photos of her before the accident and for those interested here is a link to her Instagram page with some of her modeling shots: https://instagram.com/newmoonblooms?igshid=19ae2g7myph01
I am a single mother with three children. I am commuting back and forth between Orlando and Tampa due to my job being in Orlando and my baby being in the hospital in Tampa. Although I would like to spend every minute in Tampa with her, I was already struggling financially and can't afford to not work.
If anyone has any questions or concerns they can contact Tampa General Hospital. She is in ICU unit there or contact me, Tabitha Murphy, at [email redacted].
Anything that anyone can donate would be more than greatly appreciated. She has a long way to go and we are so pleased she has made it as far as she has. Our Lord and Savior will continue to look over her and heal her from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. Please keep her in your prayers and for a speedy recovery.
Thank you!
