Briana Shull's medical and recovery fund!
Briana Shull was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (lungs, brain, and spine). We are setting up this GoFundMe page so that family, friends, and coworkers can help support the Shull family during this difficult time.
Diagnosis:
Briana had a persistent cough that was bothering her for about 5 months. After several hospital visits she received X Ray's, a CT scan, blood tests, and a biopsy which confirmed Adenocarcinoma had traveled from the lungs to the brain, spine, and hip.
Next steps:
Cyber-knife is the localized use of radiation to radiate tumors/lesions in the brain. She went through this process for the two known tumors/lesions. Genetic testing of the biopsy did not identify a front-line targeted treatment for the mutation that caused this so she will be undergoing triweekly chemo infusions for 18 weeks and then a maintenance regimen going forward. CTs and MRIs will also be a regular occurrence going forward.
Briana is currently registered as a freshman at Diablo Valley College where she hopes study digital art. Due to her health, she had to drop fall semester, but she is optimistic she can re-enroll in the spring semester.

Prayers are appreciated! Donate! If anyone has an unused telescope she would enjoy star gazing and astronomy. She also enjoys playing board games, so if anyone has a fun game to send her that would be great!

Funds will be used to help cover various medical costs and treatments, including food and travel expenses to Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. (2 - 3 hour commute depending on time of day.)
