Friends of Brian and Lisa –
As many of you are now becoming aware, Brian has been battling a very aggressive cancer for the last two years. Originally, Brian had requested the few people he told to keep his diagnosis private. Recently, they were told that Brian is losing the battle to this aggressive form of cancer. There are no further treatments that will help him and he is fighting a bad infection due to his system wearing down. His battle against this horrible disease is nearing an end. He is currently at a hospice facility; Our Lady of Peace in St. Paul, MN.

About Brian and Lisa
They began their relationship as high school sweethearts and have been happily married since 2003. Brian was diagnosed with cancer in February 2014. One month prior to his diagnosis, he and his wife Lisa were informed they were pregnant with their first and only child. Elle Briann Farrell was born on September 3, 2014.
The past two years have been difficult on Brian and Lisa. Brian has been going through numerous surgical procedures and countless radiation and chemo treatments to battle his cancer. Lisa has been juggling her job, raising Elle and ensuring Brian’s care was taken care of. Also they recently suffered the loss of Brian’s mother from cancer in June of 2015.
Financially, it has also been a difficult time for Brian and Lisa. Brian did not have short term disability, long term disability or life insurance in place if something happened. To assist Brian, Lisa has needed to take a significant amount of time away from her job. Brian has not been a full time practicing attorney for quite some time to battle his disease. They have seen a loss of income due to this and still have outstanding medical bills, mortgage payments and daycare to pay for. Sadly, there will also be a funeral that will need to be paid for.
Brian and Lisa’s Need
All money will go to pay for the family expenses mentioned above. We are asking you to give what you can to support Brian and Lisa cover these trying personal and financial issues. Our goal is $40,000. To get there and exceed our goal, we need you to help financially and also by spreading the word to anyone that might know and love Brian and Lisa. Anything you can give would mean so much to Brian, Lisa and Elle.
If you would like to give directly as opposed to through GoFundMe, which charges a fee, we have set up a benefit account. You can walk into any Wells Fargo branch and ask to deposit money directly into the "Brian and Lisa Farrell Benefit Fund" account. The direct bank deposits are the best way to avoid fees so we can maximize the contributions. We ask that donations of $500 or more be made in this way if possible.
