Donate to help Brianna and Taylor run the UltraMARAthon

Jambo friends, family, and loved ones!

Our names are Brianna and Taylor, and we are Research Assistants for the Mara Hyena Project.

Did you know that spotted hyenas run their prey to exhaustion and are built for running long distances? As admirers of this resilient species, we are excited to be participating in the Ultramarathon based out of the northern Mara conservancies. All proceeds are donated in full to upholding the vital conservation work that protects not only the wildlife of the Maasai Mara Reserve but also the communities that call this place their home. UltraMARAthon

Our goal is to raise $500 to cover both of our entrance fees for the relay portion of the race. Any additional donations over $500 will be allocated to funding necessary running supplies for the marathon (i.e., running shoes, water vests, and hydration packets).

We are grateful for any contribution that you may be able to make, and plan to keep everyone updated with pictures following the race, which is taking place in mid-November!
